My New Role at Actionable.co

2017 is off to an exciting start for me, with a new role as Head of People for Actionable.co. I never take the decision to move jobs or organizations lightly, and I already know that I’ve made a great choice. I believe in the change that Actionable is bringing to learning and development, and the team they’ve built to achieve that mission.

The year ahead is going to be challenging and interesting, for me and our growing, virtual, international team. If you’re interested in learning more about what I’ll be doing and in getting a peek into life at Actionable, check out my interview with Sara Saddington, our Managing Editor, on our team blog (she brought up the airhorn, okay?).

Or explore our website to learn how Actionable is reinventing professional learning. A few interesting facts about us:

  • One of our values is MacGyver It…and we really, really mean it
  • We’re spread across 5 countries and 11 time zones
  • Each of us works virtually, in a results only work environment (ROWE), meaning that everyone works when and where they’d like, as long as they get the job done
  • We’re hiring! The team will be growing all year, and we’re always on the lookout for talented people inspired by our mission

Curious? Want to rant about how bad the remake of MacGyver is? Have advice about working from home? I welcome your comments!

Note: Opinions I publish on this site continue to reflect my own personal viewpoint
